The MLK 165.3 Legend system combines the ML 28.3 tweeter with the ML 165.3 woofer and MLCX 165.3 crossover for a refined in-car audio experience. The woofer features a pressed-pulp cone with cotton fibres, a six-spoke aluminium basket, and a high-density ferrite magnet assembly for precise mid-frequency response. The tweeter uses a neodymium magnet and FEA-optimised dome profile for clear, detailed highs. The crossover includes Hi-Contour control for adjusting the tweeter cut-off frequency and a three-position level control to fine-tune the timbre balance. A die-cast aluminium grille with a diamond-cut Hertz logo is included.
