The Hertz H8 DSP car audio processor transforms any ordinary audio system into a high-performance integrated setup. It interfaces with analogue and digital sources, offering seven inputs including four high-level, one stereo auxiliary and an optical digital input supporting up to 96 kHz/24-bit. Each of the eight pre-out channels features a 31-band graphic equalizer, a 68-step electronic crossover with Linkwitz-Riley or Butterworth filters, and digital time alignment for precise sound staging. The included PC software (Windows) provides intuitive control in Standard or Expert mode, while the DRC HE remote allows on-the-fly adjustment of volume, balance, fader and subwoofer level. Built with USS technology for compatibility with speaker-load-detecting head units, the H8 DSP is firmware-updatable via the bit Drive portal.
