This commemorative 50th anniversary subwoofer blends an '80s-inspired gold dust cap with modern engineering for hard-hitting, distortion-free bass. The ribbed Santoprene surround and double-stacked magnet handle high power with ease, while Forced-Air Cooling keeps the voice coil running over 20% cooler than standard subs. Spiralead tinsel leads woven through the spider deliver reliable signal transfer to the oversized gold push terminals. It works best with a sealed or ported enclosure and pairs perfectly with 500 watts of RMS power. The UniPlate back plate and solid pole piece act as a single heat-absorbing unit for excellent thermal management.
