FlexMount is a proprietary mounting system built around specially developed adaptor rings that convert a universal 6.5" / 165 mm HELIX COMPOSE midbass into a car-specific speaker for Renault vehicles. The rings are manufactured in-house using a state-of-the-art FDM 3D printing process, using a material that offers high strength, rigidity, and resistance to weathering, UV radiation, oils, and greases. They cover an extreme automotive temperature range from -40°C to over +90°C, ensuring long-term durability and dimensional stability. The set includes two adaptor rings, two speaker gaskets, and all necessary mounting material for an easy, acoustically optimised installation in the original mounting position.
