Engineered for impressive output even with lower-powered amplifiers, the APS 8 R delivers deep, controlled bass from a surprisingly compact footprint. Designed for an 8.5-litre reflex enclosure tuned between 30 and 40Hz, this subwoofer pairs perfectly with the AF C8.14 bit or AF C4.10 bit amplifiers. Its special cone-dustcap-basket geometry allows large linear excursion while keeping the mounting depth ultra-low. The motor assembly is optimised using FEM analysis, ensuring tight control during high excursion, while the water-repellent pressed paper cone maintains clarity and durability.
